Can you believe it? It’s almost the end of 2016! But before we get to the end, of course there’s Christmas to be celebrated. That’s in less than 3 weeks. Are you as excited as I am?
And no matter how horrible 2016 has been for a lot of people, Christmas is always a great time to not just appreciate and give thanks to Jesus, but also to appreciate the people in our lives.
I know a lot of artists, and I like thinking of myself as an artist too *wink*, so I thought it would be a good idea to come up with a Christmas Gift Guide for Artists. These are essentially the things that I would want to receive myself haha!
I consider myself a bazaar newbie, as the recently concluded BGC Art Mart (September 27 and 28, October 4 and 5) was only the second bazaar I’ve participated in. Despite this, I can say that this experience was completely the opposite of my first one, and I’ve come out of it a more energized and inspired artist.
The husband has been wanting to document my painting process since the Hyperlapse app came out, and of course, I wanted to see what my painting looked like from an outsider’s perspective.
It took a while to find the perfect time to do it, but we finally got the chance when we decided to work at M&S Food in BHS Central. The lighting was good enough and there weren’t too many distractions around us.
This is 1 of 3 Wildflower girls I painted for this weekend’s BGC Art Mart, to be sold as a postcard print set. Don’t forget to drop by! We’ll be in front of Brothers Burger High Street on September 20, 21, 27, and 28 at 4-9PM.
It’s now September, and time flies really fast, doesn’t it? I didn’t even notice it until a few days ago because August was such a busy month, with a lot of new discoveries and events. No wonder I had a hard time just narrowing it down to just a few, but I finally and successfully chose the ones closest to my heart (and tummy).
